<p>Anyone been notified of this? My son filled out the application, his stats are great but not the diverse demographics that they love so we are not on pins and needles for this one, but I am curious!</p>

<p>The VN website says invites will go out next week. Looking at past years’ threads, it seems as though letters were mailed on Monday, portal changed on Wednesday. Perhaps it will be the same this year.</p>

<p>If your school does not nominate you, will VU consider other applicants for the Presidential Scholars if you have really good stats (Like top 1%)?</p>

<p>No, the only way to be considered is if the school nominated you and you filled out your application.</p>

<p>I received a call this evening around 6pm. It sounds like I was one of eight finalists for the VSB. I’m very excited!!! All the finalists will probably get calls within the next few days so good luck everyone! :)</p>
