@villanovarising Can you point me to the article from the Philadelphia Inquirer you are referring to? thanks!
It was about 2 weeks ago - maybe google philly.com and 21095 and applications.
It said that a spokesperson from Villanova projected 38-40 percent yield.
But I think the 34 percent from the “brother” in the admissions dept above might be more accurate at this point as it is from someone that allegedly works in admissions and all acceptances have been announced (excluding the small number of admits from waitlist that will occur)
Have you all received your “big envelope” in the mail? Still waiting, so just curious. I haven’t heard anyone specifically mention it but surely they sent one. Correct?
Yes, I have received a big envelope in the mail. Only an admitted student’s packet and a shorter version of an acceptance letter I believe.
Yes I also received a big envelope!
Have any of you been accepted into the official Facebook group yet? Because it’s been a little while now.
do international students get an admitted students’ packet as well?
So I went on a tour last week (before admissions day on the 22nd because I don’t want wait that long to make a decision). It was a tour for 11th grade students but they told us the acceptance rate this year is 34 percent. Quite a drop!
New to CC!
Accepted CLAS, 32 ACT, 3.75uw, .heard accept rate is 34.8%, was 48% just three yrs ago…prob sub 20% in VSB…what are you hearing on triples and housing based on deposit times?
I have been accepted to Villanova and have paid my 700 deposit but I have still not received an invitation code to create my My Nova account. Does anyone else know when we get the email to create it? My Nova seems like an important thing to set up so I want to get it done as soon as possible.
Is there a groupme for the incoming freshman?
