I’m currently a senior planning to apply early to Virginia Tech.
I have a 3.33 GPA and scored 1080 on my SAT out of 1600. I’m concerned whether to retake it and apply regular or leave it as is.
I’m currently in Art and English honor society, science olympiad (4 years), volunteer club, and I’ve received a Presidential volunteer service award for doing 100 hours of volunteer under the age of 15. I’ve recently started my internship at Congresswoman Barbara Comstock’s office.
I just want to hear from other people whether I can get in with my GPA and SAT score.
Thank you!
I’m also an in-state student in Virginia and I hate to say this but your chance at Va Tech is most-likely under 5% if you don’t have any hooks. Your GPA and SAT fall below the averages and if you’re from NOVA (like I am) you have to generally be above the average because it’s dragged down by the quotas for rural high schools in Appalachia.
But PM me if you want, I have a lot of knowledge on the school if you want any help
What’s the lowest gpa, sat scores you’ve heard of getting accepted ?
Also how did it go? Did you get in ?
