Virginia Tech or University of Delaware

I am currently a senior in high school with about 20 days left to choose where I wanna spend my next 4 years. I have narrowed my search down to VTech and UDel. I have been accepted into the finance program for both schools. I have visited both on admitted students day and I am having a hard time deciding. I really loved everything about Delaware (beautiful campus, great business program, seemingly friendly people, etc.) and my gut is saying Delaware ( Delaware gave me a great first impression while VTech did not). While my gut is saying UDel, my mind is saying VTech. VTech has a superior business program and has the name value, which could easily carry me far in the real world. The prices are about even so that isn’t an issue. Can someone give me some advice? Parents aren’t being too helpful. Thanks!

My daughter is at VT. We LOVE it, and I’m sure you would too, first impression not withstanding…but is VTs business school really better than Delaware? We are from NJ, and I know quite a few UDel alum in banking who are doing quite well for themselves. Maybe it is a regional thing? I think you can’t go wrong with Delaware, at least if you live i. the NE.
