As my college search is nearing a close, I have narrowed down my options to UD Honors or Virginia Tech. I’m having a great deal of difficulty choosing between the two! If I went to UD, I would be majoring in Civil Engineering (which apparently is one of the highest paying majors from UD) but if I went to VTech, I would be admitted as a general Engineer and be able to branch off from there. Tuition and fees are not a problem. The honors idea is also factoring in as I know that the Honors title after graduating looks very good so that gives UD a bit of a bump, however the VTech Engineering program is apparently very good. I am visiting both this weekend, which will hopefully help me make the decision. I am a Delaware local and in the future I would love to work somewhere up north in an urban area, so that is also a factor since VTech is much more souther. Please let me know your opinions of what you think I should do. Thanks!
