I have considered attending Virginia Tech for engineering, but I am out of state. Here are some stats:
-Junior This Year
-GPA-3.7. My school does not weight any classes, so rank is negligible and also is not provided by my school until I graduate.
-Most of my courses are honors, one AP this year (APUSH).
-I will be taking 4 AP courses next year.
-Accelerated in math and science.
-Took the SAT for the first time, and got a 1930. This is a bit lower than I was hoping for, but I know I can bring it up at least 100 points. Writing killed my score.
-Will take ACT, should get in the low 30s.
-I am doing a research project at RPI related to flow stimulated neurite expansion.
-President of my school's FRC team.
-Participate in Science Olympiad.
- I have two aunts, two uncles, and a grandfather who graduated from tech. There might even be a few more that I am missing.
