<p>That just seems weird because for freshman, they send acceptances and denials on the same day. It doesn’t make sense they’d send one but not the other.</p>

<p>I already posted twice but just so it’s all in one place for the people next year.
I’m finishing up my freshman year at NVCC, 3.1 GPA as of now but should finish my spring semester with a 4.0. So that would leave me with around a 3.5…? I got in to the BIT program. </p>
<p>This is NOT me bragging at all, but it just goes to show that having a perfect GPA is definitely not that important, just make sure to take courses that transfer and are important to your major, and if you didn’t do so well before make sure to show improvement because that is really important.</p>
<p>I’m still so speechless congrats to all you new hokies and good luck to those still waiting.</p>

<p>@Transfer4848 Congratulations! I know you were a little nervous when they asked for your midterm grades. I understand that you’re a current freshman right? You mentioned you had a 3.4…was that just for Fall Semester, or including the Spring with the current 2 A’s 2 B’s and C+ you mentioned? So the 30 credits you indcated were just the basic 15 each semester right?</p>

Yes I am a freshman. I had a 3.4 for fall semester only. I took 17 credits my first semester and proceeded with 16 in the spring. Unfortunately I did not check to make sure my credits got transferred. I took precalc which does not transfer. So basically I took 33 credits but only 30 transferred.</p>

<p>So I spoke with a lady in the admissions office and she said that there will be another batch of notifications tonight and then tomorrow. She also said that they finished earlier this year than last year on their decisions. </p>

<p>Does anyone know when the deadline is for the matriculation deposit? I looked around a bit but only found one reference to a deadline but no actual date. Still waiting on two other school’s decisions to be released. </p>
