Visiting an UPENN /Princeton/Bucknell/ others? without formal campus visit

What are your thoughts about which college(s) we should visit on Sunday, Easter. We are traveling from the Midwest. We need to see at least one college on Sunday, if not two.
The choices we have made at this point are to visit the following--

UPenn,
Princeton
Muhlenberg
Bucknell

We may visit Lafayette and/or Villanova. I am leaning towards Villanova, because it is less like Bucknell and Muhlenberg and I feel Lafayette doesnt offer an advantage over Bucknell and Muhlenberg, which seem less partiesh (Muhlenberg) and more fun/academic in a non partying way ( Bucknell). We can be somewhere Easter Morning Sunday, and we have to be in Rochester NY by 3pm on Tuesday. That leaves Sunday, Monday and part of Tuesday to see colleges.

I really wnted to go to Wesleyan on this trip, but after reading about it it is probably too left, and quirky for my son. He has visited Carleton and thought it was too small. He liked St. Olaf much better at 3000. I think he will not like UPENN at all but usually at least a couple of students from his high school (public) in IB, which is what he is in, go there each year. I dont think it will be a fit for him, but I thought we should see it. My other kids will be with us and Philly is a place they have never been. I have pretty much ruled out Gettysburg, Dickinson and Kenyon for our trip as they dont offer Club Hockey which he is interested in.
Thanks

If you’re going to look at Villanova, you might want to swing by Haverford and Swarthmore, since they’re pretty close.

bucknell (and i suspect muhlenberg) are going to feel eerily desolate on easter sunday.

if i were planning the trip, id probably spend sunday and early monday visiting the philly-area schools, get to muhlenberg late afternoon on monday, drive to lewisburg for a tuesday morning visit and then take ‘scenic route’ (route 15) through pennsylvania to rochester.

St. Olaf is great! If he likes that school he may be interested in Wesleyan, Pomona/CMC/Mudd (depending what he is interested in, the five college consortium provides a larger feel, but the same small environment of a LAC) and Lehigh.

If you will be at Muhlenberg, I would also stop at Lafayette the same day. They within a 1/2 hour drive of each other, both being in the Lehigh Valley.

Not sure what you mean by the above quote. Bucknell has 14 fraternities, compared to 6 at Lafayette.

visit Princeton, you will like it better than the others

thanks everyone, I appreciate your input!!
