Is it possible for visiting students to stay in the dorms with a college student? I know some colleges allow this, but I was not sure if UF does.

no clue but i’d like to know

You mean like you know somebody in a dorm, and want to stay the night there?

If you want to do it legit I think you like have to check in with the RA and stuff. But the dorms at UF are really lax, I had plenty of guests and never had any issue. I didn’t go through any official channel.

I meant shadowing a college student, as in following them around during their day, eating dinner with them, and staying in their dorm. This would mean not knowing someone at the college, and, instead, being paired up with someone who the Admissions Office would seem appropriate. I know other colleges allow students to do this, but UF does not mention it on their website.

I suggest you email them: webrequests@admissions.ufl.edu

They gave me a quick response last week relating to a different question I had!

i know a lot of northern schools do this. i dont think we do this however.
