Visiting help (for others)

Ohh Barboza thanks for the tip on Sprinkles opening near us - they have a vegan one so we’ll have to check them out :)

And who doesn’t love funfetti  ?

On the airport back from umich. Foing on such a big campus is such a different feel but I liked it non the less. I’ll post about the food and such when I get to a computer.

^^Just a note, but your reviews may be better received on a non-UVA board. Most people on this board are either looking for specific information to UVA or already attend UVA.

Yea but wahoogrl, if you think about it many people who visit UVA fall inlove with the campus. (I know I did) but I’m trying to look around for other schools that are much like UVA then post information here. Anyways, many of the people on this thread have alot of info about the other schools so its helpful to me and all other prospective students who read it. Also why are you going to Lehigh? Are you going to engineering?

I would personally recommend [CampusVibe - Recent College Videos, Photos, and Visit Reports](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/vibe/) but Dean J has provided a lot of info re: restaurants… That might be done better via PM but who knows…

Hmm, didn’t even know that existed on this site… also dean J dosen’t use PM’s… also I think people like to read this thread… Anyways I enjoy posting it :)

UVAorBust –> I’m starting Graduate School next month in Sociology. They are giving me a free ride for my Masters…hard to say no and I live locally to Bethlehem. UVA doesn’t fund MA programs (or have terminal MA programs) for what I am looking at (usually only PhD), otherwise I would be back in a heartbeat.

Hmm, I went to bethlehem to get certified for scuba diving. I’ve got to say I went to this tai restaurant that was amazing in the town. If you go get the coconut lime chicken soup… yum.

My mother’s. :)

Simple, vanilla cake and icing on top…not fluffy, air-filled frosting, but dense, sugary stuff.

“Dense, sugary stuff” you mean “the good stuff”. I don’t know if this is a chain but I went to an ice cream shop named “stucchies” or some name along those lines. Man the ice cream was so so good. So rich and creamy. Anyways, I liked michigan but I kind of felt like the campus was a little big. Not that I’m looking for a small campus, I perfer large, but the campus itself was so large that you had to take a bus everywhere. Also I learned that its winter october until april first. This was a massive turn off. I also didn’t like how the campus was very condensed. One thing I really liked about UVA was the great lawn where students could all come together. Also at UNC there was a large grass area between the dorms. At UMich there were buildings…
