Visiting Oxy in two days! What should I expect?

I'm a Sophomore, and I'm extremely excited to be visiting today. :) I'm going on the campus tour, but I'm arriving an hour early just to get a sense of everything. I'm also probably going to major in Psychology.

What should I expect? Are there anything specific I should make sure that I cram into my visit?

[Other colleges I'm thinking of applying to: Pitzer, Scripps, Mills, Stanford, and University of the Pacific]

Since no one’s jumping in here, Ilyana, I’ll try! If you’re still a sophomore in high school (I’m assuming you’re not a college sophomore transferring), then you’ve got lots of time yet. Try to relax and just get a feel for the different colleges you visit. Think about what you like and don’t like about each of them, and it should help clarify your final choices. Items such as the size of campus, location of campus, class size, student body, diversity, etc. are all things to consider.
For Oxy in particular, we just went on the tour last week, and it was lovely. But they did not take us either to the upper campus, where there are some dorms, or down to the gym/pool, so if you have some time, you might want to walk around afterwards and see those. Colorado St. in Pasadena is very close by, and is fun to visit, if you’re looking for places you might go if you go to Oxy. Good luck!

We loved visiting Oxy last weekend for admitted student day. If you are traveling with your parents and want to explore the area around Oxy, the Huntington Library in Pasadena has gorgeous botanical gardens!
