Visiting Pomona

Does anybody know if Pomona has a weekend or something when admitted students can visit the campus? I'm not admitted yet [but still praying!], and I've been invited to two separate programs where I can visit two different college campuses (campusi? idk). bBut the problem is, at my school, you can only miss 5 days for college visits, and both colleges begin thier campus tours on thurs.and don't end till sunday. So that's four days of school missed, and if Pomona does have a thing where students can visit the campus, I wouldn't be able to go. Any answers are greatly appriecated! :)

I'm pretty sure Pomona has an admitted students weekend/event of some sort, but I'm not sure when it is (I looked on the website but could only find the details for last year's weekend/event). If it means you'd miss too many days of school, perhaps you could go to part of it, or go on a different weekend altogether. You could fly out Thursday night (after school), visit the school Friday/Saturday, and fly home Sunday. Or fly Friday night, visit Saturday and/or Sunday, fly home Sunday/Monday. Then you'd only be missing one day of school to see Pomona.

First of all, you can visit (and stay overnight) anytime during April. The admitted students weekend is during April (mid-April I believe), but if you can take just a day off, then I would recommend looking at the course catalog on-line to see when classes of interest to you are held (Friday vs. Monday). Then, you can travel to accommodate those. If you visit Saturday-Monday, you could take a late night flight home on Monday.

Good luck!
