How easy is it to get from the airport to SDSU for a one day visit? I would rather not have to rent a car and deal with parking. I've heard that one can take a taxi from the airport to a trolley station and then the trolley to the school. Has anyone done this? Which station is best/closest to the airport, and about how much would the taxi cost? Are there taxis outside of the trolley stations?

Thanks!

yea i would do this all the time. There is a bus that takes you to Old Town station, but I would spend 10-15 on a taxi to Old Town. Then you just take the trolley to SDSU. If you are in a rush(flying in right before class) a taxi all the way to campus costs from 30-40 bucks

or, you could do it totally ghetto and take the enterprise shuttle to enterprise which is right next to washington st trolley station (which by the way is the closest trolley station to the airport) and then just walk out of there. the good thing about takin the bus or cab straight to old town though is that you can get on the green line right away instead of goin a stop on the blue line from washington.
