Visiting this week, need a possible chance

Hi guys, This weekend I am going to be visiting Cal Poly and would like to know if I have a realistic chance of being accepted. I am currently a hs senior in California at a top ranked public high school. I come from an affluent family and will be in no need of financial aid.

UC GPA: 3.75
Sat: 1770 (hopefully a 1900 in october)
ACT: None, but planning on taking this fall, hopefully a 28 or above
SAT 2s: 610 US History and 610 Biology
APs: 5 on us history exam
My school only offers 3 AP courses for non-seniors, but I have taken 3 other honors courses and plan on taking 2 AP classes senior year

ECs: 200 hours volunteering at my citys local library helping kids, 50 hours volunteering at my citys local swim center helping staff take care of kids, I have played guitar for over 5 years, Member of my hs first chess club, and a prestigious member of Santa Monica Mountain Conservation Authority (volunteer at their events), Job at a local store for the past 6 months, CSF and Honor Student at my high school for 2 years.

Schools: For my college major I have decided that I would like to Study in one of three majors, Political Science, Business Administration or Economics. I hope to possibly join ROTC at Cal Poly and am planning for a future in law enforcement

I would really enjoy and appreciate it, if you guys could help me figure out my chances, Thanks in Advance.
And if possible maybe you can suggest a few things to see or do while in San Luis Obispo

If you had applied sometime near the end of 2008 you should have received an E-mail and a snail mail notice of your admission or denial of entry by now.
Fall 2009 class registration is one week away. So, I guess it’s good luck getting in?
Have other college options, just in case?

sorry I thought it was suggested that i was applying this fall for 2010 school year

Normally I’d say your chances are pretty good but all bets are off given the proposed 30,000 student cut in future Cal State enrollment. That said, do everything you can to get your GPA and test scores up - they are just about all that matter - and go for it. Cal Poly is a great school.

With a 3.75 gpa you will probably not get into Business Administration or Economics.
