We are driving from southern NH to visit RPI tomorrow - really excited as it seems to be a beautiful campus. Hopefully we'll get a good feel for the campus as well as the town, even though it is summertime. Anything in particular we should try to see/experience? Thanks!

cool! hmm, troy isnt the greatest town..i used to live there (on rpi's campus acutally) but its a great school! when i used to live there i used to hang out at the union. idk if they have it anymore, but i'd definetly check it out. i'm also very interested in rpi (amazing scholarships) anyway..

have funn!

The Union is still there. It wont be too crowded unless you happen to run into a student orientation. Other than that, a few students are there for summer sessions. You should try to experience a few lab facilities in your intended major, maybe talk to a professor if any are around. And definitely tour the entire campus and some surrounding areas
