Is it possible to visit our cadet during summer programs like GE?

not really. if its during the first several days when they “work” from about 0700-17oo or so, then you can see them those nights. after they “deploy” you can’t. my parents came out to watch me jump so i got to spend time with them then. it really depends on the program and how much free time you have.

If they have jump or soaring, that is the best time for a parental visit. But be warned. You will spend long days sitting around waiting for good weather. Not a bad experience, just something to be prepared for is all

Cadets in most programs are pretty busy most of the time. GE, for example, leaves very little free time for its participants. Like I said though, some programs have more lax schedules than others. Feel free to ask about any in particular.

My parents want to come out during Soaring (2nd half of 1st period). Any recommendations? What are the weekends like during the summer?

I know that for jump you got the weekend off, and I am pretty sure soaring is the same way, but someone with more info can correct me if I am wrong. All other programs, there is no such thing as a weekend
