vista del campo norte charges

So im living in norte and i have a few questions about electricity. If you go over your $100 limit they charge you right. well im worried my roommates are using to much air conditioning. Those of you who have been charged extra does it seem like you actually used a lot of lights and ac to get overcharged? how many days and hours per day did you feel you used the ac when you did (rough estimate of course)? and how much did they charge you? same thing with the lights; do you felt like you kept them all on all the time? The more people that answer the better :)

Dont worry, the elcetricty your paying will last you more than a month. I too worried about exceeding the limit, but my roommates said the watts they offer can be used up by plugging all the electrical sockets in your apt and using them simultaneously.

Thanks BigBurrito. So you never went over while using a lot of electricity?

^ There were a couple of times when roommate left AC on ALL night. We were never charged extra.

Caveat****
They will CHARGE you for any damages/stains that can’t be fixed or cleaned. I suggest you wrap the drip pans (the silver bowl shaped things under the heating elements of the stove) in tin foil to keep them clean. They cost 12$ total.

Also, If you notice any damages/very dirty areas and you know that it was a roommate, either have them clean/fix it, otherwise I would report it at the office so you don’t get charged for something that you didn’t do. (I’m talking about common areas, here.)

I got charged for stains to the sofa which wasn’t even my fault, but all 4 of us were charged…So frusterating. The money came out of your security desposit.

anyone living/lived in norte: how about the heater? how much did you leave it on without getting charged? or how much did you leave it on when you did get charged?
