Viterbi Selects Prize Winner for Epstein Family Chair in Engineering

<p>Professor Jong-Shi Pang has been named the new holder of the Epstein Family Chair in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Professor Pang is one of only eight recipients of the Lanchester Prize. He also received the Dantzig Prize. He has held key positions at Univ. of Illinois, Johns Hopkins and the NSF.</p>

<p>He has various research interests in systems engineering and equilibrium programming.
Pang is an ISI Highly Cited Researcher and a Fellow of the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. He earned both his MS and Ph.D. from Stanford University.</p>
