Vocab part of critical reading is killing me!

<p>I do fine on the passages based questions but every time I hit the vocab questions I get only the easiest vocab questions right. Should I start skipping more of the harder vocab questions? </p>

<p>I already have direct hits 300 essential words. Anything else I can do to improve my vocab?</p>

<p>Get toughest words too!</p>

<p>Some prep books like “Flocabulary” and “Rock the SAT” incorporate SAT words into songs, with context clues. I think you could give it a try. At least it’s another way of learning words, and it’s less painful :)</p>
