Hello, Im an 10th grader and I would really want to go into pre med at a good college, but i go to a vocational high school because the other school in my area has no gotten taken over by the state and has gone down hill, so I couldn't and would never go there. My vocation at my school is Medical assisting, by the end of next year i will be a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
Certified EKG Technician (CET)
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Certified Billing & Coding Specialist (CBCS)
Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
I have learned all general medical things and have worked with younger schools in my district nurses and have gained experience in many different medical environments. I have a 4.0 GPA and haven't taken SATs yet. Im a grade ahead in math classes and take all honors classes i get, I do many extra curriculars and tons of volunteer work. But the whole thing is i go to a vocational school but by our laws in our state, we learn just as much as every other school in Massachusetts just at a faster pace (Thats why my school is selective) Im scared I won't be able to get into any good colleges for pre med. Is there anything i can do? This is my dream!
