Does Girl’s State or Governor’s School carry more prestige in college admissions? I was nominated by my school for Girl’s State and I was just accepted (after an application process) into a TN Governor’s School. 500 rising senior girls attend Girl’s State and 64 rising juniors and seniors attend Gov School. Girl’s State is the last week of May and Governor’s School is the month of June. Gov School starts the day Girl’s State ends so I might not be able to attend both because both programs are very strict about being present the ENTIRE time. If I end up having to choose, does one help me more in college admissions?
