<p>I was searching through the forum but couldn't find it.
What are some good volunteer oppurtunities for peopel age 15-17?
I don't want to volunteer at a library because everyone does it and it doesn't intrest me. But most medical volunteer is for people 16+.
What volunteer is prestigious? (i know summer programs abroad that you pay $6000 is bad for college app)</p>

<p>If you are interested in medicine but are afraid that you're too young, make sure to check each hospital's individual age limit if you haven't already-- I volunteer at Georgetown University Hospital in DC, and their age limit is 15.</p>

<p>i'd suggest looking for opportunities in your town/community. i don't know what you mean by "prestigious volunteer opportunities", but there are tons of things you can do that doesn't involve volunteering at the library. volunteering is what you make out of it. if you do what you love and you put time and energy and effort into it, you make it meaningful and worthwhile.</p>

<p>There are so many in Mass, especially if you live in Boston.
Try hospitals, animal shelters, research centers, universities, etc. The hospital i volunteer at has an age limit of 14, so each hospital is different. Just find out.</p>

<p>Kelsey606, i believe those volunteer oppourtunities are requiring at least 16 and up. I'm 15 but my face looks extremely babyish..most peopel think i look 10. -_-''</p>
