Hi, I want to even have the slightest chance of getting into Yale. I'm planning to do a lot of volunteering work. I was wondering how many hours per week would exceed and stand out on the college application? Thank you!
I really would appreciate your help. ^_^

Find something you enjoy. Do it when you want to. Make a commitment.

** Don't do things so Yale will "like" you.**

Aspire for a wonderful education above schooling.

Do what you like and don't do things only for the sake of college admission!

No matter how much volunteering work you do, it's VERY likely that you won't get in anyway. If you did things you enjoyed, you'll get over it. If you did things you hated you'll be devastated when you see the rejection letter.

colleges will identify activities which had the only purpose of impressing the adcoms (and that's not good for you!)
