Volunteering

I really want to volunteer somewhere. It's summer break and I don't have anything to do, meaning it's a great opportunity to volunteer and actually do something.
I've tried looking for places I could volunteer at since several weeks and months ago, but they all have minimum age restrictions of 16 or 18 years old. I'm currently 15 years old, so obviously I do not meet these age requirements.

I've tried looking for museums I could volunteer at, but they too have a minimum age requirement of 16/18 years old. However, I applied at a nearby hospital so I can volunteer there, and I still want to volunteer somewhere else as well.

I have even looked at websites that find organizations where I could volunteer but they don't really help me because you have to be 18+.

What are some places I could volunteer as a 15 year old?

Libraries?

Boys and girls club?

Libraries are a great place to help out.

Try a church

Hospitals will often hire 15 year olds.

Libraries are great. I’m volunteering at one right now. The tasks are simple, it’s a good atmosphere, and sometimes when there’s nothing to do you can get work done/read as well.

What are some of the roles as a volunteer at a library?

filing, searching books, checking books, shelving books, providing customer service, reading to little kids, etc.
