Question to those have transferred into VT General Engineering. If you transfer with all the first year classes for Engineering done, can you start taking classes of the specific Engineering major you plan on going into, or is there a list of specific classes all the people in General Engineering take?
Your assigned advisor will evaluate your transcript and assign you the classes so that you can transition into your requested engineering major. In my case, as a sophomore transfer, it was the exact classes that VT sophomores were taking.
