I was put in there in a small transfer community, and I'm part of the Politics and Cultural Diversity program. What does this mean? Also, what are the 3 bedroom triples like? Anybody here have a 17 room?

I'll be there this fall, but I'm so excited that I could care less if Du Bois house has a great reputation among other houses or not. I too have a 3 bedroom triple. Who knows, we may even be roommates. As far as the dorm programs, I'm just as confused as you are about that.

I'm a transfer student with a 3 bedroom triple on the 4th floor, though I have no idea what they look like...I suppose I'll meet you all later this month though!

TerrarumOrbis,
Yes, I suppose you will meet me soon. Have you used your PennKey to see a diagram of the rooms? I know that won't tell you the whole story, but it should give you an idea. My other two suitemates reached me through facebook and they seem like pretty cool guys. I'm excited like a kid on Christmas eve. I'm transferring in from a community college, how about yourself?

I'm coming from Colgate- 'twas a bit too chilly for me.

I'm a junior transfer student and put down Politics and Cultural Pluralism as my first choice. I'm really excited and hope I get into the program, but I'm also a little confused. On a few YouTube videos that the Residential Advisory Board created, the house dean and some of the students at Du Bois said it was the most diverse and close knit house at Penn, the "UN of Penn", but I read from some other people it is 99% African-American, which doesn't seem too diverse at all... which one is it?
