Hi! I'm down to my "three W's" and could use some help with my final decision. I visited W&M last weekend, and felt very at home. I'm in the Monroe Scholars program. I'm a suburban girl living in "The OC". All three schools seem like good fits for me; friendly, supportive, active, academic, and a good place to find my interests. Any Opinions?

i know very little about wusl except they sent my daughter more material than any other college. i know williams and w&m are excellent academic schools. we also visited w&m last weekend and we loved it. it really is a tough decision, but i doubt you could go wrong with either school. good luck.

Now, I might be ever so lightly biased but I think you should definitely come to William and Mary. My friend is going off to Williams in the fall and from what I hear a lot of Californians go up there, freeze to death, and become hippies. With monroe, you'll get to travel at no cost to you, and you'll always carry that distinction- a "Monroe Scholar at the College of William and Mary". Come on, that rocks on the resume. Plus, WM has to have THE coolest traditions of any school ANYWHERE. Freshman walk through one of the oldest buildings on campus to arrive at the other side where they are greeted into the college community by the entire faculty and student body on the first day of school. We also sing the alma mater to the President (i think by candle light out his window) on the first day of orientation. There's the grand illumination, which is a huge fireworks display over the old buildings at xmas while the whole student body sings Christmas Carols, and of course, blowout, which is before fall and especially srping exams where the entire campus just has crazy parties and moon bounces brought in to help the students de-stress before exam time. Come on now, that can't be beat!
