Hi! I'm down to my "three W's" and could use some advise. I visited Williams this weekend and loved it, but am concerned that it might be Too Small and Too Remote. I'm a suburban girl living in "The OC". All three schools seem like good fits for me. Any Opinions?

I live in a fairly urban area and I loved my visits to Williams. But then again, I do have a strong preference for that kind of environment versus the city. Plus, you are always a few hours from Boston and NYC (not completely remote like... oh...say... montana) And I live directly in between the nyc and williams (little over an hour from nyc) and so I'll be heading in that direction frequently and I'm always open to bringing new friends home and then maybe heading to the city.... lol, any takers??

I recently visited Williams with a group of friends and we drove to Amherst and then to boston, and I personally didn't think it was a difficult or extremely long drive. I think the "isolated" atmosphere allows you to have the best of both worlds, you can always travel to the city, but someone who is going to school in the city can't call the beautiful Williams campus home!

I have always recommended going to the best school you get into where you feel like there is a fit between you and the campus culture. Of the schools you are deciding between, I think Williams is hands down the best school. I hope by now you have made your decision and plan to join ephmen and ephwomen in the purple valley. Good luck . . . let us know.
