Wabash College

I've really been thinking about this school, and debating on the issue if I want to apply ED. Right now it's between Indiana and Wabash. Wabash "I" feel offers better academics, and a better learning enviroment. Downside is no ladies. I don't mind this during the week, but I hope there is women during the weekend, if not, I don't want them at all. Another problem is that I don't get that Big 10 sports feel.

Some might know poor ol' king's stats and know that I'm not a 4.0 student. Meaning if I'm going to get into wabash, it will probably be from ED.What are your views on Wabash, because I really need to decide if I'm going to ED or not.

Thanks

I have several teachers who went to wabash, so I visited there this past spring. It's a gorgeous campus and they offer excellent academics (Or so I hear), but for me, I couldn't imagine going to a school 1/2 the size of my high school. I wouldn't worry about the girls thing. One of my teacher's daughters goes to depauw and apparently they "bus" the girls in all the time.

They definitely won't have any big 10 feel, but they have a big rivalry with depauw (esp. in football), and if nothing else, you're not that far from purdue or IU.

If you're going to apply ED, make sure you visit it first. Like I said, a 900 student school has a very different feel than any other school you might visit.

One of D's good friends goes to Wabash (will be a senior) and loves it. He had a great college experience and seemed to meet plenty of girls outside of Wabash.
