Wada Apartment

Hi everyone,

How's life at Wada as a transferred student?

Is there a good place to study there?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I had friend who lived in Wada and he enjoyed it a lot, has a lot more space than the other nearby dorms. I lived in a triple in one of the other Unit 2 buildings and was jealous of how much more space they had. (We were both transfers from the same CC.) And check out Wada’s description on UCB’s website just to get a feel of how much space and furniture you will be working with: [Living at Cal 2013-2014, UC Berkeley Housing](http://www.housing.berkeley.edu/livingatcal/unit2_wada.html) .

As for being able to study, every building has a study lounge of some sort (and you already have more space than most since Wada is an apartment style), so you shouldn’t really have a problem studying. A lot of your studying habits will probably depend on your roommates and how your schedules and personalities match up. If your roommate is distracting or whatever, you will probably make friends with students from nearby dorms that you can study with and there are plenty of libraries on campus where people study .

Btw, for some extra tips and info about college/dorm life, you should check out my recent blog post: [Tips for Incoming College Freshman & Transfer Students | Jon x 5](<a href=“Private Site”>Private Site) .

Let me know if you have any other questions about Unit 2. Good luck on move-in day!
