Help, I got a 560 M 770 CR and 740 W on the SAT, totaling 2060. I am applying for transfer as an English major, but will the math score affect me negatively? I took the SAT again last week and did in my opinion much better on the math, but the results aren't out until the 28th and the applications are due on 4/1/2013 for me. I shouldn't wait, right? Turning them in that late would probably look AWFUL. So should I just submit it with the 560 score and pray for the best? I'm not looking into super competitive schools like Ivies or anything, just NYU, BC and UConn, but I'm out of state for all of those.

I mean I do have like 60 credits at the uni I’m at right now. But since my overall SAT score is kind of high at least by say UConn standards I thought I should include it…???

If you get your results on the 28th and the deadline is the 1st, I’m not quite sure what the problem is. You can look at the results online on the 28th, and send your scores electronically on the 28th.

Since NYU & BC are privates, it doesn’t matter whether you’re IS or OOS.

Call and ask if getting results on the 28th and submitting immediately will make the deadline or not. If not, submit your current scores and update with your new ones ASAP.
