So I have a 19 ACT score, and a 2.8 GPA but on the “college scale” ole miss admissions looks at I have a 2.69, I’ve been on sports all through out high school, and worked… I applied for out of state admission and got wait listed, meaning I’ll either be accepted in the fall, or have to start in the Spring a semester late… has anyone ever been in this situation? Any advice? Help? I’m going to try the SAT, and retake the ACT. I’m just so stressed out, I want to start in the fall. Helpppppp!
Yes… retake the exams and make sure to complete the supplemental application ASAP.
What’s a supplemental application?!
Is that the out of state application? I filled that out
Get in touch with your state admissions officer. They will check for you.
I’ve talked to them, and I did fill out the out of state application, but I’m still wait listed.
@brunettepopp it’s not an automatic deal to get off the waitlist just by completing the application. the admissions committee meets periodically to determine if they will admit any students from the waitlist.
So basically all I can do is wait and retake my tests…
Essentially yes, if you have submitted the supplemental application. Those are the only options at this point.
