Wait listed at Scripps

My D was wait listed. Haven't heard of anyone else in the same boat yet so I don't know how big of a bucket this is. Does anyone have historical data on what % of the people actually get admitted off the wait list? My impression is the type of student who wants to go to Scripps is pretty set on it, therefore they should have a high enrollment rate and not much movement out of the wait list.

According to the 2006 princeton review book, 8% were accepted from the wait list out of the 404 who accepted a spot on the list. But those stats are a bit old I guess...

Scripps common dataset
<a href="http://www.scrippscollege.edu/about/common-data-set.php%5B/url%5D">http://www.scrippscollege.edu/about/common-data-set.php</a>
For Fall 2007:
Number of qualified applicants placed on waiting list: 471
Number accepting a place on the waiting list: 201
Number of wait-listed students admitted: 0

Then I think for Fall 2006 these were the waitlist stats:
Number of qualified applicants placed on waiting list: 422
Number accepting a place on the waiting list: 148
Number of wait-listed students admitted: 3

Thanks for all the responses. Wow, I'm impressed by the stats you can find on the website if you know where to look. It confirmed what I already suspected -- so UCSD is going to have to start looking good...

Oh wow, mine are really off! I'm sorry!! I guess you can just forget about my previous post...
