I was just starting this thread so other wait listed applicants can share info. anyone else wait listed? anyone know any info about this decision? any tips? thanks

I was unfortunately wait listed as well. I find that all there is to do is to play the waiting game.

My daughter was also waitlisted last year from Udel…It was her top choice and very unhappy about the wait…We did several things…had guidance counselor contact her admissions counselor to assure him or her that she was still interested and a good candidate. My d wrote a letter right away telling of her continued interest. Several weeks later my d phoned admissions to tell them again of her interest and hope that they would have a spot for her. Finally just prior to the May 1 deadline guidance counselor called again to remind them of her continued interest in Udel. We got lucky and a few days after May 1 ( and a deposit paid at another school) Delaware contacted her to tell her she was being offered a spot…She is happily in her second semester as a Udel freshman…Good luck…don’t give up hope!!!

NJM012 offers great advise. If you want to get off the list, you must market yourself. Make your interest and story stand out from a mere name and number. Good Luck
