I applied ED at College of the Hoy Cross on November 26th and I am now waiting for a reply. I applied ED so I would find out my decision early and not have to pay for other college applications, but obviously the decision has taken longer than expected and I was wondering if I should contact the admission office and ask if I have been accepted so I dont have to apply to other colleges and can save my money.

Normally I would wait for my letter or a personal call from the admission offices but because I am an international student from New Zealand a letter could take up to 3-4 weeks to arrive.

So, the inevitable question: should I contact the admission offices and ask about my acceptance decision or should I wait and risk having to pay more money on applications to other colleges?
