When do they let us know their final decision?

Do they even use the waitlist? What happened in the past?

Guys- we have hope!

Cornell (all Colleges)

Not if it's like 2003. But Cornell is my dream school. So I will be on that list.

Nice to know. None the less, a bit dissapointing. I was really hoping to get in but I guess I will have to settle for a spot on the wait list for now.

cornell has a low yield rate. so i'm assuming many people from the waitlist do get in

^lol I wouldn't count on that too much with this Ivy League carnage this year...

Keep the hopes up! That's all we've got.

Good luck everybody.

GL waitlist people. Just don't take my attitude from last year that waitlist was pretty much a delayed acceptance...ya...it's not lol. There IS a chance tho...especially w/ those numbers. Be ready to accept a no but keep up hope for a YES! GL HOPE U ALL GET IN!!!! Just be happy that the wait is over...it nearly killed me last year lol. GL!

Those who are waitlisted still have hope....I'm an ambassador at Cornell and basically, admissions is trying NOT TO overenroll like they did last year. As a result, less people were accepted and more were waitlisted...So there is more hope for those who are waitlisted than there was last year :)

Ya they over enrolled by like 200 sumtin people last year so that's good news for u guys. Best of luck!

Omg..thank you Swimqueen4848, ur comment made my day.

I guess I will have to lurk the in Cornell forum until I get my decision. Best of luck to everyone in the same position as I am.

you're very welcome :) :D

I was just waitlisted. I'm hoping for the best. :) Good luck everyone!

I thought about it... and decided to go to Brown. ;)

Both great schools, so I'm sure you'll have a great time at Brown as well. Congrats on the acceptance there and gl.
