Hi. Has anyone else submitted an application prior to the October 1 deadline for the first round of admissions to be announced on/around 10/15?

If so, please post back when you get any news.

Thanks.

Hi. Has anyone else submitted an application prior to the October 1 deadline for the first round of admissions to be announced on/around 10/15?

Thanks.

We’re waiting.

Last year, we were able to check online, and my daughter actually found out on October 5 (a year ago today) that she was accepted at that time. We just went to the Check Application Status page. She found out there almost a week before actually receiving anything in the mail, so you may want to keep a close eye on that page. She had seen some other girl’s status on Facebook that she had gotten in, so that is when we checked and lo and behold! there it was. She is now a happy freshman at Auburn!

Nothing yet. Still listed as ‘Complete, Ready to Review’. He didn’t submit until 9/22 so he may not hear as early as others.

Mine says ‘Complete, Ready to Review’ as well. My transcript wasn’t received until September 30th though, so I will probably be the last one to hear anything.

My daughter just checked and she is accepted. She submitted her application on Sep 30.

Nothing via email or snail mail yet, but online the status now says accepted.

rhy…has you daughter decided on Auburn?

I just checked, and mine says accepted as well!

She is trying to decide between Auburn and Elon University. Her first choice changes weekly.

One student from my daughter’s high school discovered, online, today that she has been accepted. My daughter is a wreck as her admission status doesn’t give any clue yet. Our last name begins with “V”. She is hoping that there might be some alphabetical reasoning behind her not hearing yet. Her classmate who is accepted is a “B” and another “F” hasn’t heard yet either. Any ideas?

just checked my daughter’s and she is accepted

I’m an ‘M’ and I was accepted last night, so I don’t think it’s alphabetical.

we are a S- I think it may be when you applied- D applied on 8/7

I applied 9/30 and my last name starts with an H and I found out today that I was accepted.

Last name “Q” we applied August 9th. Transcripts weren’t received until Spetember 24th though. Ours still states “ready for review.” We are also OSS.

Accepted. Transcript got in on October 1st, OOS, last name “W”

Okay my D is getting worried. Everything was received prior to October 1st. Her status still says “Ready for Review.” I hope we are checking in the right place, under admissions, check application status. Where on the form does it say accepted?

On my application, on the row marked “Application Status” it said “Decision Made” where it once said “Ready for Review”. Under that row there was another row marked “Decision” then “Accepted for Admission”.

Hope that helped :)

same here- does anyone know how to sign up for housing- do they send a packet in the mail ?

Thanks. That’s where she keeps checking and it still states “Ready for Review.” Guess we will just wait a while longer.
