I want to drop Math 1A for Math 1B. Currently one of the 1B sections has a limit of 325 and has a total of 307 enrolled with a waitlist of 34. Technically, it should be 325/325 with a waitlist of 16, with me being #16 since the waitlist hasn't been updated yet.

Do I have a good chance of getting in? And when would I be able to get in? Will I be able to get in before classes start hopefully?

So chances are looking good for me? Because if I don’t get in I’m screwed…I can’t find any breadths that have open seats and aren’t too challenging…And to think I was done with telebears.

The math department is notoriously generous when it comes to fitting waitlisted students into classes. Just keep going to lecture and to the discussion you are waitlisted for and you will most likely be fine.
