I submitted a waitlist LOCI to my regional admissions officer, but I got an automatic reply saying that he was out of the office until next week.
Should I email him back next week kindly reminding him to check his email for my letter or do admission officers check their emails from the time they left the office?
Assuming that the procedure for the college is emailing the regional AO, he will see it next week - which is only a few days away.

So I don’t need to do anything for the time being?
No, you do not need to do anything.
No, they will have your LOCI and you will just annoy them if you email about it. The only thing I suggest is that maybe in another month or so, if the college is still a top, choice, you can email the regional rep to confirm your interest. Let them know it’s your top choice, you’ll attend if accepted, and update with any new information: an award, a summer opportunity lined up, a plan being enacted, a new development in something you’re doing, or similar. Keep it brief.
