<p>Does anyone know how many previous waitlisted students got into Dartmouth?</p>
<p>Don't know the info for last year but the most recent information available through the Common Data Set 2005-6 says 1200 kids were offered waitlist status, 700 accepted a spot and 16 were taken off the waitlist for the fall of 2004.</p>
<p>There is a poster, cj (maybe he will check in) who got deferred by Dartmouth, ED then waitlisted during the RD round. He got taken off of the waitlist, then deferred a year and will be a happy member of the class of 2010.</p>
<p>For him, it has been a long road, but he came through, he'll probably be one of the happiest people you see on campus.</p>
