Waitlist update?

Did anyone get contacted by any other means after the 15th? Phone calls, letters, anything? I'm dying here, and I just want to make sure I'm not the only one!

I am pretty sure no one has been contacted for over a week. At least not on this thread. Most of the aceptances went out that first week of May. Right now Columbia is probably waiting on the HYP to do their waitlist and see the effect they have on them. Also they have a ton of emails to sort through after they said people could send more letters in. Many people also took themselves off the list.

Foozball is right.

have anyone received the confirmation that they had been on the extented waitlist after reply the email?

Basiclly everyone is still on the waitlist they have not taken anyone off yet. they are keeping their options open.

Again, foozball is right.

Thanks everyone! I hope we all hear soon! (Good or bad, personally, I just want to have a definite answer!)

We'll hear back by the end of June I believe.

ops I mean I reply the email, and then nothing happened..no reply no confirmation...

Oh, I don't think so. They're probably still sorting through e-mails, though. Probably a lot of people sent in supplements.

Yeah, I didn't get a confirmation either.

I wish they'd hurry up and let us know now. -_-

You'd think.

The waiting is killing me..

You can't imagine my plight, darling.

I hope we hear back soon because in June 11th I have to go to orientation for Boston U. =/ I'd hate to spend money going, sign up for classes, and take my placement tests only to end up not going.

Of course you would.

I'm already worried that IF, by some miracle of life, I DO get in, my 1000 dollar deposit at my current college'd go down the drain.

My deposit was $650. =/ But the orientation cost me like $300 to sign up and get a room there. The tickets to boston are around $700 for two since my father is going with me.

Wow, so that's a good 1650.

College is so expensive in the US. Sometimes I think that I should just give it all up and go to college in India--where it's virtually 125 dollars a year, max.

I know, in my father's country, it costs like $30 a month to go to a university. But I don't want to live there. =/
