I’m a pretty good student (not the best grades junior year, mostly Bs because I moved schools but As this semester). I had a 2210 superscore on the SAT and a pretty good essay, if I say so myself. I have a LOT of extracurricular activities and they’re not small stuff either.
I got waitlisted. Does anyone know what to do from here? Should I call them a bunch? Email the admissions officer? Do I have a good chance of getting in?
I definitely wouldn’t call them a lot. Craft a descriptive, sincere letter about why you want to go to Wellesley and what you would bring to the school. Now is the time to include anything they might not have seen in your original application. If you win any awards or your quarter grades are strong, update the admissions office on that. You might also want to send in another letter of recommendation, if possible.
