According to the Wall Street Journal this morning, Haverford will be taking about 40 off the wailist for the Class of 2010, compared to 23 last year.

AHHHH! Are you serious? I hope I'm one of the 40...

Good- no- GREAT LUCK!!
There's nothing I'd rather see than enthusiastic applicants going to Haverford! By the way, a wait list doesn't mean anything. One of my college buds was waitlisted but wound up going to Cornell for medical school after Haverford.

I received a phone call last thursday saying that I was taken off the waiting list. Pending financial aid info, I am really hoping to go to Haverford. I was SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone still waiting.

i also got in. they called me and i talked to them for a while, finally asking what my chances were. and they told me i was in.

yay! congrats!

Schmidy6- Did your phone ring yet?

Nope :-( no word.

they left me a message saying they "had a few questions" and they were taking people off the wait list. does that mean im in?

I got an almost identical message before I was admitted, but I can't tell you for sure. Good luck!

congratulations! hope you have a wonderful time at HC!

well, i talked to the admissions counselor today and was not actually admitted. he said they were taking students off the wait list, would i still like to attend, and then told me i was missing something in my financial aid. called the financial aid office, they couldnt figure out what he thought was missing. will i get in or not? im dying of anticipation here.

I'm in!!! :-D

YEA!!! Good luck at Haverford:)!!!!

Seeya there!

welcome to the cool club!

Watch out for the aggressive black squirrels and pushy ducks and geese... they don't follow the honor code.

haha.. seriously though.. the black squirrels enjoy launching pointy objects while hiding within the trees.

See... this is why I was never a fan of having the black squirrel as the mascot. I always felt the duck pond ducks were more appropriate.

The Quaker Quackers.. and what would be more disturbing for a visiting team to see than 200 HC students wearing bright yellow shirts and blowing duck whistles in unison?
