This was a disappointing to receive a mail that we are to be wait-listed ????
So all the guys and gals for fall 2010 , who are wait-listed, what are you thinking of and what are you going to do??

I got waitlisted yesterday =(
Mr. Maloof (The admissions guy) said since I was asking for too many financial aid, I had to be waitlisted. Ps I was asking for almost a full ride (full tuition and room and board).

I accepted the waitlist place and increased my family contribution by a few amount of dollars; Although I’m not sure if the change is gonna make much difference.
Mr. Maloof also said that a letter demonstrating my interest in Trinity will not be necessary either at this point. So I’m not working on any letter, and now I’m not sure what to do next.

I’m disappointed cuz I really wanted to go to Trinity. :(

What about you?

^^^ Same here.
I had to accept to be on the wait-list.
I have no idea what to do now as school has clearly mentioned that only 24% of waitlisted students get in.
so it’s been hard time for me ( i guess, u as well)
And i too want to go to trinity like crazy…:(

U people applied R.D? Because I have had no reply yet. Do they email?

^^I didn’t hear anything back as well!! if u get something do post it here!!!.. and yes they did email all the wait-listed candidates…

so either we rejected or accepted then?

^^ no idea!

Have u contacted Mr.Maloof about this?

^^ Nope! I thought I could wait… u??

hey ive not heard from the college as well…two of my frnds got their waitlist decisions…has any received acceptance or rejection letters??

I’ll wait, will not email him because I think he got annoyed with me last time

@Ali.
What reply? ain’t getting u…
But i had mailed to Mr. Maloof , he had said nothing except when the decisions will be out…:(

he gave the exact time when the result will be out or just said 1st April?

@everyone who didn’t get the waitlist email: If u didnt get the waitlist email then chances are you are either accepted or rejected. All I can say is keep ur fingers crossed, and if ur a candidate with competitive stats then u dont have anything to worry abt! :)

@skox818: the percentage for international students getting off the waitlist is apparently higher than the US candidates, so we may still get in. So are you going to write a letter to trinity to express your interest for the college?

I’m waitlisted as well.

Any idea when the accept/reject letters go out? If they emailed waitlisted candidates, maybe they will also send email notifications prior to mailing out the letters?

@pixie4545 : It is almost certain that if you request full financial aid, you will be waitlisted, even in forever!!! Be honest about your amount of contribution. It will increase your chance.

Well I asked for full financial aid I have not been waitlisted. Bytheway is this only happening to internationals?

@duongviethai: Well I’m not exactly asking for full financial aid, I’m asking for a full ride (that includes tuition and room & board). Well I was always honest about my family contribution, but I still had to increase by only $2000, and it still may prove to be a financial burden for my family (well not that much but it could).

@ALIMurtaza: Apparently yeah, this is probably only happening to int students. I just checked out ur stats; and compared to mine u definitely have the upper hand in ur SAT scores and ECs. So chances are you probably got accepted with good aid. :)

Well I can only pay $3000 so I shouldnt be too confident.
