Well, I would say there’s not such " magic wand" tips to get in, but i would say make your application strong in all possible way( like GPAs, Essays, ECAs , Recommendations and other stuffs) becuz you had to show them you are special.
I hope your daughter gets in and help her in all possible ways.

They said they won’t be taking any international students from the waitlisted pool.
Oh! GOd damn it…why would they keep the hopes alive if they knew they weren’t going to take any students from the internationals?

<p>@tshariff: Well compared to most international students out here, my stats are pretty average (1280/1940 SAT; 3 As and 1 B in A Level: As actually, prediction for A2: 4 As; few ECs I’m passionate about and a good essay). But I think I’ve been taken off the waitlist is because I changed my family contribution to $14000 dollars from $6000. </p>
<p>@skox818: Um before I got picked they told me that they will pick only a few international students (not more than 15). So maybe they picked very few internationals, I dont think they betrayed us.</p>
<p>My friend from Vietnam is accepted to Trinity from the waitlisted pool with a not-so-bad financial aid amount. They may take only some strong candidates!</p>
<p>Well , i was mailed stating that they won’t take international sutdents…MR. MALOOF didn’t make it clear that they had taken 9 students from waitlisted pool and their budget was exhausted…
It was a only a frustrations but after Eric made it clear…it was okay…
