Does anyone know anything/have any tips about the waitlist process? Or now how many Emerson typically accepts from their waitlist?
I was also waitlisted. I am a theater major. Past threads have said no one is taken from the waitlist so hopefully theres some positive comments about that…
Emerson admitted 44 kids off their Wait List last year, but probably offered a spot to many more as their Yield is just 21% ( meaning 79% say no to their acceptance letter)
If you really love Emerson and would go there if they accepted you, by all means email them a heartfelt letter telling them so. Also keep them updated of any news, such as a new role you’re enjoying. Expressing strong sincere interest can be a factor that bumps you off the waitlist should any spots open.

We know a boy who was offered a spot off the waitlist. It was right around the 1st of may.
