I just can't seem to find any information on how the waitlisting works!!! please help me. First of all, I am going to say YES to Wharton, but I want to go to Yale OR Stanford if possible. As I am waitlisted for two schools, do I get to accept only one waitlist? If I DO get chosen, am I bound to go to the waitlisted school I get in??? Please help. I really want to work quickly, send them an email and prepare etc.

By the May 1 deadline, you must indicate the intent to enroll at one of the schools that accepted you outright. That would be Wharton. You can keep your name on as many waitlists as you want. If you get off one (or more), it will up to you to decide if you want to go there. If not, you decline. If you decide to go, you let Wharton know know you won’t be attending. You will lose your deposit to Wharton. You could even, say, get off the waitlist at Stanford and say yes to them, then a week later get off the Yale waitlist and say yes to them. All you do is immediately go back to Stanford and explain you won’t be attending. And again, you’d lose your deposit to Stanford.
