<p>Should I remain on the waitlist at Yale or simply choose Stanford ?</p>
<p>I'm sorry i have to ask a stupid question. But what do waitlistees normally do ? Enroll at one college and remain on the waitlisted at another ?</p>
<p>Well, first: Stanford is an amazing school. I know that if Yale is your first choice, that's no consolation; however, you should still feel very proud about your acceptance.</p>
<p>Ok, so I think that normally, people put down a deposit at the school they like the most out of their acceptances. That way, if the waitlist doesn't prove fruitful, you're still going to college.</p>
<p>Now I'm very foggy on the next part, but I think that by sometime in the summer, a college will let you know whether you've been finally rejected or accepted. If you've been accepted, I think you lose your deposit at the other school, but you do get to go to the waitlist school that acceppted you.</p>
