Waitlisted from Tisch Film at NYU - Who to contact?

<p>Hey everyone,</p>

<p>Although there have been previous posts on being waitlisted, it's pretty clear that if I (and others who applied to Tisch) want to be considered over other applicants I have to contact NYU by means of mail to inform them of my recent accomplishments in academics/film. But WHO exactly should we contact? There are a myriad of addresses on the Tisch site, and if I send a letter to the office of undergraduate admissions would they even bother to read it? Would it be appropriate to call admissions and ask if there is someone that I can specifically talk to, or mail information to? Or even find out where I am on the wait list? :/</p>

<p>Well, if it helps at all, I know a lot of admitted students, or at least a few, who wont be attending (including myself). That should help your chances. Also: I know someone who was admitted to Tisch after being wait listed and writing a letter, last year.
