<p>Hello. I have been hearing that more people are waitlisted this year as compared to previous years, and therefore, more people will be accepted from waitlists. Is it true?</p>

<p>They do (have thoughts on the matter). They’ve just been posted on a few other threads. I started one “Class of 2015: Waitlisted!” and another person started another one. If you google waitlisted college confidential there are several people who posted thoughts about this being a year where many schools will go to their waitlists because of students applying to more schools than in past years.</p>
<p>If you were waitlisted, I wish you all the best. My D was waitlisted at 4 schools and I really hope this is the year those schools go to their waitlist.</p>
